Follow me from Paris to Provence!

I'd like to extend an invitation for you to follow my travels from Paris to Provence over the coming months. We will be heading off to join in the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris and then traveling south to Uzes, my ancestral village, to pick up the ancient iron key that unlocks Castille de Fleur's new concept studio apartment.

Throughout our stay from mid July to mid August, we will be furnishing and preparing the apartment to be offered exclusively to our customers for holiday accommodation in the future. The beautiful stone apartment will be brimming full of aromatic Castille de Fleur products to pamper you whilst staying in this most spectacular historic medieval village. More about the apartment later, but just a sneak preview - the sun-kissed red shutters give it away... (photo taken in Feb 2015 when inspecting the property)

Each couple of days (or whenever the internet connection allows), I will be posting a travel blog on Castille de Fleur's website (starting from around 14th July) so you can join me in the excitement of buying and furnishing our apartment that overlooks the picturesque village square. The trip will also be one of research and exploration of new product ideas to develop upon my return. Of course, who could travel to Provence in summer without visiting the glorious lavender fields and famous artisan markets? I'll show you my favourites and also visit some of the most charming villages in the region.

To read my journal, simply visit our website and click on 'Diary' in the main top menu bar. Send messages via email to if you have any requests, comments or questions - and any interior decorating suggestions will be gratefully accepted!

Our Canterbury atelier will be open as usual with the only exception that we will close on Mondays over winter. Liz and Lachlan will be on hand to welcome you and assist with your product selections. Trading hours will be as usual on all other days: Tues-Sat 10am - 5pm, Sunday noon - 4pm. I will be sending more photos back to the atelier so don't miss the extensive slideshow screening every day on the counter.

I hope you enjoy following my journey and I look forward to seeing you when I return.
